U.S. MIDTERMS, WEAKER DOLLAR & METAL DIVERGENCE IN FOCUS
  • Oil: Brent slipped toward $103 despite an unexpected 5.27-million-barrel draw in U.S. crude inventories, as investors focused on potential progress in Middle East peace talks.
  • Equities: U.S. futures fell as early election results pointed to Democratic gains, raising uncertainty over Trump’s economic agenda and potential regulatory changes for technology companies.
  • Gold & Silver: Gold climbed toward $3,947 as the dollar weakened and Treasury yields declined. Silver underperformed, falling toward $49.12, while platinum and palladium also traded lower.
  • Copper: Long-term supply constraints and concentrated inventories continue to support copper’s outlook, although uncertainty over Chinese demand and U.S. trade policy limits upside momentum.
